The location is the best aspect of this apartment. You are within walking distance of Palazzo Vecchio and the neighborhood’s historical points of interest and shops alone will take a day to explore.
The apartment was very dusty - ledges, floor, walls, patio, everywhere. My allergies were very irritated. The ironing board cover was wet due to the dirty, wet mop head that lay against it. The shower head was broken and water poured from a removable fixture like a waterfall. Also, the heater was set so hot, we had to be careful of scalding.
The bed was not comfortable at all, but the air conditioning worked well- a super plus in the 100 (40) + degree heat wave of June ‘26!
Because a good shower and comfortable bed are basic comforts for a trip full of daytime explorations, I would not recommend.
Regarding communication, we would have appreciated a heads up on where to park (we did notify we had a car ahead of time). Also, we would have appreciated information regarding a road closure due to a patron saint festival that caused us to have to park our car a 30 walk away from the apartment.
