Awesome hot tub, comfy cabin, nice kitchen, everything we needed for a weekend away. The location is 30 minutes from Boone, 10 minuted from Todd (go to the Mercantile), and the scenery around the mountain is beautiful!

Second time staying

The cabin is very well taken care of. We 1st stayed when it was fairly new. The hot tub is excellent, clean, clear, and no chlorine smell. Quite and away from the hussle and bussle of life.

Beautiful property way off the main road. 4x4 is a must if there’s any snow on the ground. Watch out for deer they are everywhere!!

Cozy Cabin

The exterior of the cabin is super cute, nice big porches, hot tub was great. The inside is absolutely AMAZING, living/dining room is compact but cozy. Loved everything about it.

Cozy mountain neighborhood

Great place to stay in a rural environment. Luckily we were prepared for the inclement weather and drove our vehicles with AWD capabilities having snow and ice on the roads and a drive to climb the mountain neighborhood. Recommend bringing an extra roll of toilet paper and paper towels being that there is only one roll in each bathroom.

Cute bungalow

Great house. Well stocked kitchen for pot/pan’s utensils. ( no staples- BRING EVERYTHING: from sugar to tea bags to coffee to cooking oil - and spices) Great neighborhood to walk in- nice views.

Nice place to stay.

Great place. Be warned it's a 1/2 hour drive to any store. So bring everything you need. No nonstick pans so bring oil. If you are staying more than a couple days bring TP. The door lock batteries are dead, but there is a lock box with keys on the porch. The map coordiantes we were sent are nowhere near the house, but GPS got us there. I'm used to getting a text from the owner to check on our stay. That didn't happen. Overall a very nice place if you come prepared.

Everything about our stay was great. The bungalow was clean, well supplied, had very comfortable beds; a great floor plan, and in a convenient location. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience!

The cabin was exactly what I needed for the four nights I was there. The location could not have been better. I was there for work so the hot tub was icing on the cake every night when I was done with work. Everything about the cabin was perfect! I also enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen every night. I have already looked at future dates to return.

Perfect Wekend Away

My sister and I traveled for her birthday. The house was wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. The trip into Boone was quick and easy. The weather cooperated at the last minute and we enjoyed sunshine and bkue skies. The house has a nice layout and was well-stocked with kitchen and dining items. The bathrooms were nice, and there were plenty of lamps and overhead lights. We especially loved the magical effect of the lights over the dining table! Thanks for a great weekend!

Nice bungalow

Overall it was a good trip. Really enjoyed usage of the hottub but the main bed mattress and box springs need to be replaced. You couldn't even turn over without waking up because of the noise made. I'd seen other reviews after we booked about the bed and they were true.

Beautiful and relaxing

Very clean, well furnished and comfortable. Close to the shops and a beautiful drive to and from them. Less secluded than I expected but very relaxing and serene.

THIS HOUSE AND VRBO ARE BOTH ABSOLUTE RIPOFFS

This dump had heat blowing at 59 degrees with the thermostat set on 80, black mold growing in the downstairs bathroom shower, the floor under the shower is soft and feels like it's about to fall in, and we were greeted by rotten pumpkins next to the entrance door. Here's the best part VRBO refuses to give us a refund. We slept without heat for one night and moved to a hotel. When you add all that up, you stole about one thousand five hundred dollars from us.
