  • Modern, beautiful holiday home at the Sørbølfjell gateway to Hallingdal.



    The house is beautifully furnished and has many windows that let in plenty of natural light. Enjoy a hearty breakfast and the marvellous view of the surroundings. The house has room for many guests and is equipped with all modern conveniences. From the open property you have a wonderful view of the mountain landscape and the holiday home has a covered terrace, which allows you to enjoy a morning coffee outside in almost any weather Outside the hut there are great hiking opportunities - in summer and winter.



    Just put on your hiking boots and enjoy wonderful walks, mountain hikes and fishing trips. In winter, Sørbølfjell offers fantastic skiing opportunities, so all you have to do is strap on your skis and set off on beautiful tours. For excursions, we recommend a visit to the beautiful bear park in Flå, where you can get up close to bears, lynx and wolves. The park also has a playground and an obstacle course.



    Note: The last 8 km to the house is a gravel track.

Beautiful house and environment, but...

This house is rented through Novasol. Novasol customer support has no telephone number and is only available from 9.00-17.30 through online chat. Prior to our arrival they couldn't provide us with basic information, such as the sizes of the beds (handy to know since we had to bring our own). They absolutely did not pass our question on to the real owners of the accomodation. Also there was no phone number provided of the actual owners. Luckily we had no issues prior to our arrival, but if you would need to contact the owner in any way prior, this is not possible. Frankly, I would rather not rent through Novasol again just because of their (lack of) customer service. If we would have had an issue, there would have been no one to help us. What also is not explained before arrival, is that every time you enter the park, you have to pay 100NOK. We received coordinates for the accommodation, but numbering on the park is not consistent and we had to circle around multiple times to find the house. The park is very new and the roads on the park not yet recognised by navigation services. When we arrived there were instructions by the owners (including a phone number), a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. It was a warm welcome in a stunning house with even better views. The house had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen wasn't the cleanest, lots of crumbs everywhere. There are several hiking paths you can take, just use ut.no House amazing, Novasol absolutely not.

Veldig fin hytte. Løsningen var fin, og romslig til oss 4. Lå tett oppi andre i ett hyttebygg, gikk fint nå ettersom vi brukte dagene i bjlærneparken.
