Albergo piacevolmente demode'

Un albergo al centro di un grandissimo e ben curato parco. L' albergo ha conosciuto sicuramente tempi migliori, di cui conserva ancora il fascino. Personale gentile e preparato: Un piccolo disguido sulla prenotazione viene risolto in modo rapido ed elegante. Tutto sommato un giudizio positivo.

Un sogno.....

Abbiamo soggiornato io e mia moglie in questa fantastica struttura. Una fine ed un inizio anno 2017/2018 da favola. Location da favola con camere confortevoli pulite e curate bene, SPA da sogno e personale eccezionale.

Beautiful grand old hotel set up a hill in it's own grounds - what could possibly go wrong? We had booked 2 nights in this 5•L hotel a while ago as part of our holiday touring Italy. When we arrived it was clear that The Grande Rallye of Roma FIA supported - so a real big event - were using this hotel as race HQ. Cars and people all over but no problem the hotel is big enough to cope. Then however over the same period of time the hotel was hosting the epp (European People's Party) conference. The place was crawling with delegates, MEP's, Senators, security, police, tv crews, press photographers and many many other organisers and various 'hangers on''. Normal tourists in the hotel, which my wife and I were, were made to feel as welcome as a bad rash. The hotel in my opinion could not cope with the volume and needs of the epp entourage never mind the odd tourist. 1 member of staff tried to run the entire bar on the Friday evening! On our first breakfast we were virtually ignored by the few staff that were on duty as at around 8:45 am the place was heaving. The 2nd day breakfast was better - perhaps because we decided to go down later to try and avoid the scrum. I did make a point of telling the reception staff on our departure that although I thought the hotel and our bedroom was fantastic there was no way we should have been allowed to stay there with all that was going on. We had really been looking forward to staying here but feel cheated Definitely not a 5• experience

Romantic weekend get away

Hotel was very impressive and spotlessly clean. Room was lovely but the air con didn't work - we did mention this and was told that it would be looked at - I'm sure it was but it still wasn't working correctly. Food was delicious but we thought it was over priced - especially in the snack bar €20 for a club sandwich and €6 for a small bottle beer!

Hotel stupendo... Ma per l'estate e niente SPA

Peccato per la SPA inesistente... Un hotel meraviglioso, immerso in un parco che domina la vista di Fiuggi. A questo punto da visitare solo d'estate. Personale impeccabile ad eccezione del Centro Benessere. Non hanno una SPA come quelle classiche. La piscina coperta era ghiacciata, così come il minuscolo (2 mt x 2 forse) idromassaggio. In seguito alle numerose segnalazioni effettuate dalle persone presenti, le signorine dicevano che la temperatura dell'acqua era di 30 gradi. Premesso che di solito dovrebbe oscillare sui 36-38°, la piscina rimaneva desolatamente vuota in quanto GHIACCIATA. Uno spreco se non una truffa pagare un qualcuno che non sa provvedere ai guasti neanche il secondo giorno... Stesso dicasi per il bagno turco... Tradizionalmente si suda lì dentro, ma non c'era neanche il vapore!!!

Peccato... ci si aspetta di più!

La SPA deludente per la categoria dell'hotel, piscina interna bella, ma acqua fredda (33 gradi!) senza percorso SPA, doccia cervicale, percorso kneipp... ovvero tutto quello che generalmente rende gradevole godersi una SPA. Una piccolissima vasca idromassaggio che può ospitare non più di 4-5 persone. Ci sono bagno turco e sauna, ma decisamente deludente considerato che si tratta di un 5 stelle L. Basterebbe un piccolo investimento in questo settore per rendere l'hotel perfetto, un vero paradiso.

Un gran bel hotel davvero, anche se solo per un week end veloce ma in pieno relax coccolati ed in un bell'ambiente proprio. Al centro della Fiuggi bassa ha un grande ingresso immerso in un parco verde sulla cui sommità si erge l'hotel. Immenso con i suoi 5 piani ha una bella veduta sulla città e si respira quiete. Accolti in modo egregio dal personale ci hanno fatto subito accomodare nella nostra camera. Ambiente enormi e corridoi davvero larghi con piccoli salottini di disimpegno, la nostra stanza era pulita e con un bel letto a baldacchino con carta da parati in stile fiori/natura. Bagno grande e tutto in marmo con utilissimo kit in omaggio e una vasca molto ampia. Forse una piccola nota da fare è relativa al livello di aria condizionata al nostro arrivo davvero troppo fredda. La veduta dalla finestra era su Fiuggi vecchia.Centro benessere grande composto da una piscina interna ed un piccolo idromassaggio con 4/5 postazioni (forse un po' poche per la mole di ospiti). Sono presenti anche altri ambienti di relax con sauna, bagno turco e angolo ristoro. Colazione davvero completa all'interno di una sala che da sola vale la tariffa pagata.

Ein sehr schönes Grand Hotel im besten sinne des Wortes. Das Person ist bestens und fürsorglich, das Frühstück, die Bar und das Restaurant wundervoll. Lediglich die Technik auf den Zimmern ist überholungsbedürftig.

A Grand Hotel as Grand Hotels should be

A Grand Hotel of the Belle Epoque style, on the point of celebrating its centenary. Nonetheless, it is smart, clean, comfortable and feels up to date as well as being luxurious and 'Grand'. Good service and an excellent restaurant
