「The cottage that we rented was clean enough, however, the amenities were definitely not up to par. The grounds were obviously not kept up with very well, the community bathrooms need a deep cleaning and the pool water appeared green and had scum floating on the surface. My wife and I decided not to risk it for fear of getting sick. The staff was not present. There is no office for checking in or any other purpose. We are unlikely to visit this location again.」

「Rght on the Guadalupe with a very spacious stone deck, tables, pool, BBQ pits and beautiful trees to shade the area. Nice big grass area down by the river. Owners are very accommodating and you can tell they take pride with the upkeep of the rooms and property overall. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time meeting others staying at Horseshoe Riverside. We will be back! Thank you Doc and Wendy for a nice and comfortable getaway.」

「We loved our stay for my Bachelorette Party! The two queen bedroom was perfect for us with the best view! We loved the swimming pool & the deck area! We used the ice machine effectively as well. The staff even helped us take pictures as well. The downtown area was so close so that was perfect as well. Parking was a little tight but doable. We will definitely be back & make the Bygone our Wimberley place to stay!」

「Good clean property with good amenities. The only con I would add would be to replace the electronic lock on the front door of the unit. It was a little finicky.」

「Yes hot tub was nice and pool was clean just too cold to swim in this month . Enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and a short drive into Wimberly for some shopping . There’s a HEB in Wimberly too fro your groceries. Eric is the property manager and he is a very nice person! Will definitely stay here again given the opportunity. 」
