"This is an excellent hotel, we had a villa which was so spacious as we are away for an extended time we have lots of bags. I cannot praise the staff enough, from reception, bar and restaurant to housekeeping, everyone was great, even let me check out late for no cost when our trip plans got changed at the last minute "

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Incredibly spacious and very clean. We had an amazing view over Lake Te Anau. Would highly recommend for families. Can easily walk (less than 10 minutes) to the main strip where shops are."

Consider a combination of an old convent building, beautiful spacious grounds, and then add a dollop of Alice in Wonderland. We were very happy with our stay in the bishops cottage, loved the location, and will come back to stay here as soon as we can plan another visit to Te Anau."
