残念ながら天気が悪かったが部屋から湖が一望でき、ロケーションは最高だった。しかし部屋に関してはバスルームが狭く、また電子レンジも付いていなかったので、値段の割には‥という感じ。

友人達と3人で泊まりました。予約は一部屋でしたが、コネクティングルームで2部屋使わせてもらいました。ベッドが3つ、バスルームが2つあり、1部屋はキッチンもついていたので、とても快適でした。 部屋から湖が見え、歩いてすぐきれいな湖と山の景色を見に行けます。 レセプションもフレンドリーな方でとてもよかったです。

WiFiの故障で無駄足

宿泊の日に、ちょうどWiFiが故障して使えなかった。運悪く、ツアＩー会社が翌日のツアーのキャンセルをメールしていたがメールが読めずに、翌日ツアー会社の窓口で知らされました。　ＷｉＦｉが使えないことは、大いに不便です。

湖の前の静かな立地。テアナウまで20ＫＭで近い。ランドリーも共同キッチンもあって便利だった。宿の人も親切。

This property either needs to be closed or renovated desperately. The electric blankets are like from the 80s one was broken and the other was hanging on to its dear life. I didn't use it and suffered the bitter cold and the dirty blanket. The toilet literally came off the floor when I sat slightly to one side. We were on our way to Milford Sound from Queenstown and all rooms in Te Anau were completely booked. When we arrived at the hotel office and asked if I could use the toilet, the staff said there was none for guests. We had to drive out and around the closed cafe to reach our room. Everything was like a scene from Bates Motel. Our trip to New Zealand was wonderful with all the friendly and welcoming people, except this one downside.

The complex was in very poor condition with the grounds and out door aminities in dire need of TLC. The room had no kitcken one pot and no utensils. There was a shared outsude room kitchen facility use at your own risk. The wifi didnt work so the tv and internet were unavailsble. Apparently hadnt worked for 3 years. Same with the attached bar and resturant. Which left dining options limited.

The bathroom was minimal. I could hear the person in the room next door snoring and hear traffic go by outside. There is no air-conditioning and just a little portable heater.

The shower curtain was too short, bathroom flooded during each shower. The sign suggesting "don't flood the bathroom" won't work in the current configuration. The laundry power was off at 8:30 pm - that's fine, but was not back on until 9:00 am - with a check out at 10, there really isn't time to do laundry on your day of check out. Clean room and helpful staff.

Great view but awful place to stay. Poor value, uncomfortable bed, bathroom seen better days, fridge broken. Couldn’t communicate with whom I assume was the owner. Give this place a miss!!!

The buildings felt like they were waiting to be demolished! Very old fashioned and tired. Not at all comfortable. No fan or air con (although we didn’t need it). Really small bed in our room so we asked to swap to 2 singles. Very flat pillows and only one each. Only space & hard chair for one person to sit to eat/read, other than on the bed. No internet for all of our 2 days, even in reception. This meant there was also no TV, except one very fuzzy channel. Restaurant/cafe was closed, even though all the rooms seemed fully booked. The shared kitchen had no plates, bowls, cutlery, but reception provided some when I asked. Nothing in the room except a kettle. Nice lake views and you can walk along the shoreline. We only stayed there as all other accommodation was booked. It’s about a 15 min drive to Te Anau, which looked very nice when we joined our mini bus tour to Milford Sound. We ate in Te Anau in the evening and there were several nice restaurants to choose from.

The property was on poor repair and shape. It looked like it was forgotten and just opened for a few weeks. Over grown plants and weeds. The view of the lake and clean sheets and towels were there only saving grace. The staff did the best they could given the condition the the motel.

Great location. Very convenient for making the early morning departure time for the cruise experience to Doubtless Sound we had booked. Negatives: Grounds clearly need some maintenance done. Inescapable conclusion to reach is that the owners just don't care what grounds look like. Car parking available but on a sloping grass verge. Bathroom very dated and old and tired looking. Coffee making facilities - jug, cups, fridge, but no teaspoons!! Cups looked a little dirty. Positives: Views are outstanding. Water in shower was hot. Internet wi-fi was easy to access, fast and reliable.

The on site staff support was the only positive apart from the lakeview, but the owner played no part in that! We feel that this property should not be listed in its entirety the way it is & certainly not represented online as is..it's false advertising, including the name which is different in reality.The restaurant & bar do not exist & have not done so for several years. The overall appearance of the property & the entire site is run down, neglected & shabby, looking deserted. The photos/information from which we decided to make our booking do not reflect reality. We paid more money, despite booking in advance, than people getting 'better' accommodation at last minute bookings and it did not represent value for money. The room we were given has clearly not seen any sort of refurbishment in decades...I would imagine not since it was first built. It didnt smell pleasant, there were hairs around the bed head, a stain on bedding and the fridge door seal had debris in it as eg's of its presentation.The advertising led us to believe there was a kitchenette included which turned out to be shared kitchen facilities, which were absolutely disgusting with dirty stained washing up implements & cloths & the microwave was absolutely filthy..not somewhere I would take food into, let alone prepare, cook and eat it there. The wifi availability was off and on and there were just 2 tv channels to choose from on the 2nd night, only 1 on the first.
