"Everything was fine"

"Looked a bit sketchy at first but once we got into our room everything was great. We returned to the room numerous nights late at night and had no problems. We weren't bothered at all from other rooms being loud. Slept comfortably. "

"The room was clean but the furnishings were in very bad condition. Furniture chipped and worn and the bed was horrible. It was as hard as a rock and we could feel the bed springs in the mattress. Quite a price to pay ($370 per day) for a sub par room. "

"Only issue was low ceilings, especially bathroom. Husband hit his head a few times on enclosed beam. Low showerhead. I’m 5’8” & low for me. Loved the patio area & neighborhood. Would stay there again to visit our daughter."

"Charming, homey, comfortable house on a small canyon street, nestled among the trees. The house is well equipped with just about anything you might need for cooking, there's plenty of towells, and it's a lovely little refuge. The setting couldn't be nicer, though I would point out that it's not for the weak-kneed -there are quite a few steps up to the house. I loved hiking around the neighborhood (steep windy streets) and you only have to drive a few minutes to be right in the lively, little pedestrian shops on Laurel St in San Carlos.
