Lovely quiet room overlooking the river at the back of the hotel. Hanging and storage space was limited, but not a problem as we were only staying in the hotel 2 nights, We ate dinner in the hotel each night, but sadly that was a big let down. Beef Bourguignon and lemon meringue pie were far from what we expected, such a shame. Breakfast was adequate, but not extensive. A big plus is the electric vehicle charging points, so easy to charge our EV overnight. A very convenient hotel on the outskirts of Bournemouth, we were very happy with our stay, just let down by the food.

We stayed for 1 night at the hotel, in a lovely room at the back, overlooking the river. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the hotel is well maintained. As an electric car driver, the ability to charge the car overnight was a huge plus. Breakfast was good, fried egg, sausage, bacon etc, plus pastries and cereal available. Just two minor quibbles with the room: the air conditioning unit showed the set temperature illuminated with a very bright white light, which stopped the room from being fully dark. Luckily I had brought an eye mask. Also, the temperature of the shower was very difficult to control, the switch from the bath taps was very stiff, then it was either scalding hot or completely cold with very little room to manoeuvre between them. We managed, but a warning sign next to the taps might have been a good precaution. A very comfortable stay overall, and a very convenient location for us, we’ll be back.

Hotel and staff are lovely very helpful breakfast a good selection . But one big problem is parking for the disabled drivers to the front of the hotel is the spaces are not wide enough so other cars park really close causing difficultly getting into back into your car .
