"It was a wonderful cabin, very clean and had everything we needed. Seating by the river was relaxing. The whole stay was great and loved the snack basket. Will definitely go back again."
"This cabin was perfect for a couple of days to relax and rest. It was very cozy and comfortable. The views were amazing! I spent hours on the porch swing looking at the mountains and watching the wildlife. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had what we needed. Excellent property all around!"
"The hot water to the bathrooms could have been better. It took longer than expected to get hot water to the shower and sink. Otherwise, the place was great and for our purposes was an excellent choice."
Mountain Adobe Home in Jemez Springs, NM Mt. Views "Raven House"
10/10 Excellent
"The home is comfortable and has a nice layout with separation between bedrooms that provides privacy. The views of cliffs are marvelous, and there are nice places to sit outside. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area."
The Alpaca Barnhaus in the Jemez Mountains-Quiet & Comfortable at 8700'
10/10 Excellent
"The Alpaca Barnhaus is a wonderful place to stay! The hosts, Mickey and Evelyn are delightful woman who offer a unique experience with three alpacas and two dogs on site. The Barnhaus is well appointed with everything you need from spices in the kitchen, to fluffy towels in the bathrooms, and comfortable beds with great pillows. It is very clean, spacious, and homey. We especially loved the wrap-around porch, which had comfortable rocking chairs, lounge chairs, and a large picnic table. It’s a serene place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, or to star gaze at night, or simply to enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenery. We loved having the chance to meet the alpacas and interact with them close-up (no petting allowed). The barn is extremely clean and a fun place to visit. As for location, the Barnhaus has a close hiking trail down to the San Antonio Hot Springs (beautiful but very steep). It’s any easy drive to everything you might want to do in Jemez Springs or the Valles Calsera. I highly recommend it! We will visit again for sure."
