"We had a wonderful stay at the Coastguards. We’re regular visitors of west wittering and the location is perfect for exploring the beach and local area. A very comfortable and functional place for the family. We would have loved a bbq! The kitchen was a little dated but we spent little time in the cottage as we were out and about enjoying crabbing, beach walks, the local pub and Chichester. Thank you!"

"My husband and I were travelling along the south coast of England visiting family. We stayed at Old Sefter School for two nights and were absolutely thrilled with everything about our stay. Carole and Tim were incredibly hospitable and ensured that everything was to our liking. We had everything we needed and enjoyed exploring the village and walking the beach. "The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, decorated beautifully and lovely garden. Milk,teabags, hot chocolate and coffee sachets there waiting for us which was a nice touch. A couple of minutes walk to the beach, lovely coastal walks and great food in the nearby pub 'The Lifeboat'. The couple that owned the property were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this holiday let and we hope to return."

"It is a handily located property, just as described, and very close to the sea, which you can see from both balconies. The balconies themselves are exceptional and spacious, one with morning sun and one with evening sun. Nice garden too. The house itself nicely designed and very well served with cooking equipment. We had a lovely week here!"

"Property was perfect, cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need inside. The little added extras were a sweet touch ( cheese and crackers, jug of milk, bottled water). Location is superb, lots to do around the Area, nice pubs. Great communication with the owner. Didn't want to leave. I stayed with my 2 children and my dog. Would definately stay again."

"We came to stay for a very wet Easter week away with the kiddies was just wanting a diff environment for a few days. It lived up to that and much more, even in the cold wet weather the location and home was perfect, We was kept very warm and Cosy in this property it really was home for home. We have tried many properties in selsey over the years and this is the best unique home we have found! Deffo recommend staying in this very rear home."

"Although we appreciate we were not in an assisted bedroom we would have appreciated a handle on the wall to aid getting in and out of the bath. This was a comment from my husband who is not disabled. I was unable to use the shower as I was unable to get in the bath - I am disabled. Anyone who has a disabled blue badge can park for free on the car park behind the pub. This saved us £18 per night. The evening meal we had was fantastic, really tasty!. Breakfast was great. "
