"We had a fantastic stay! Room was modern and clean and very spacious which was great as we had 2 adults and 3 kids. The pool was great the children really enjoyed it and the staff at the leisure centre were so friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We had planned to go into Derry city for food but after swimming and a busy day we opted to eat at the hotel. Our expectations weren’t very high but the food was honestly fantastic! And staff again very friendly. Breakfast was ok. Continental section a bit small and limited choice and hot food was just ok. No black / white pudding, no soda bread and the potato bread was over fried and crispy. But did the job. Would definitely stay again"

"Good central location, although the "view" from our window was straight across to the room window of our adjacent neighbour. Drains smell persisted in toilet and thinnest loo roll paper I've seen anywhere - very poor standard! Despite this, rooms and hotel where very clean and the staff were excellent and welcoming. Breakfast good but utensils and cutlery could run out often. .... I would stay here again."

"Check in quick and easy. Parking was busy but always found a space. Room was clean and functional, cleaned daily although often not until well into the afternoon. The safe was not working when we arrived but was fixed almost immediately on notifying reception. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, was very good quality with lots of choice. The gym was out of operation which we were not aware of before arrival - there was no indication of when it would reopen. The swimming pool has 2 water slides, only one of which was working during our 6 night stay, and that one was temporarily closed on and off all day for lifeguard breaks. Changing rooms were clean. Be aware that the 'spa', being the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, are all in the very busy main pool area . The jacuzzi was frequently taken over by groups of small children despite the 16+ rule (although I think a slighter younger age restriction such as 12+ would have been fine). We used the golf driving range - free loan of clubs and you just pay for the basket of balls. A good activity for those travelling with older children, even beginners. Staff were all courteous and eager to help. I would recommend this hotel for families with children primarily. It is well located for exploring the surrounding area and is very child friendly."
