"We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse."

"We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

However I would suggest calling the Guesthouse directly and booking through them rather than booking through Expedia!! Arrived late at night, and left in the morning for a week long road trip BUT this place was a short ride from the airport, clear instructions for gaining access, everything clean and well maintained, nice breakfast array in the morning. Was a quick walk to marina. Would definitely choose again for a longer stay."

An oasis in the area of quiet, calm, peaceful garden with fruit trees, replete with an excellent cat. Breakfast superb!! "We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun!
