Value for money stay

The accommodation was simple, value for money but did the job. On-site parking at the pub and, whilst they did not serve food at the pub, there were plenty of places locally to get your evening meal.

Good value and parking

Easy to find, good parking, nice welcome. Room was good value, clean and comfy. Perfect for an overnight stay and would stay again

Good Stay

Friendly staff, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and plenty of room. Pub closed on time and very little noise from the regulars. I would stay there again, remember its cheap to stay and if you want luxury you need to pay the price for it.

Room was not that great, tv faced the ceiling, water leaking in the bathroom, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.

5day Stay

After reading previous reviews I was a little sceptical but chose to book anyway as I was on a budget and it was closest to the location in which my work business was being conducted,(daily walking to business venue). I was greeted by a nice polite lady from the lady behind the bar who showed me to my room. The room (#1,twin) was clean and tidy and presented well despite the age of the building. TV, tea-coffee biscuits provided daily, toast and cereals

Pub ok but no food in the evening

The pub wasn't providing food in the evening, which was one of the reasons I stayed there as wanted to eat where I was staying. Staff was very friendly and helpful and she lent me a phone charger. No one around in the morning to check out and it was a help yourself to cerail at top of the stairs breakfast! Which is ok if I'd known that. Room ok and all provided
