"Vastly overpriced and understaffed for what it is. Reminded me of a 1970's idea of what a reasonable hotel was. Positives: the staff are great but not enough of them. If they're on minimum wage it's criminal, they were so busy and deserve a LOT more. Negatives: Executive room, really? Separate toilet and bathroom with 1970's rendering on the walls. The TV is one step up from Cathode ray tubes, no casting here! Air con? Nope, you get a fan, in any colour as long as its white! Restaurant, apparently opens at 6pm but no-one there til 6.45. Gave up and went to the local Italian. Breakfast, nearly £20 per person and one, yes 1 Coffee machine for a restaurant that looks like it accommodates 100+. We waited nearly 15 minutes for Coffee by which time our breakfast was cold. The hotels one and only redeeming feature is it proximity to the docks. That's it. And at £260 per night per room you know it's a scam. Avoid, stay further out of town and use the short stay car parks by the docks."

"The room in the annex was a good size with a comfy bed, drawers, cupboard and tv. The bathroom was a little small with little space to place personal toiletries but the shower worked well. There is just soap near the sink and body/hair gel in the shower. The location is great next to Fareham town centre and close to the M27 and A27. There is a car park which is free to residents. The wifi worked well. The pub bar was handy with a restaurant. Breakfast was a small choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries and bread and hot options were chosen from the a la carte menu which was good. The staff in the pub and restaurant varied, some excellent but others seemed unable to cope, maybe this could be a training issue. "

"We didn’t give the hotel an excellent because the elevators were awfully slow. Yes, we were boarding a ship so were all the other guests at the hotel. Otherwise a beautiful hotel. One of the best breakfasts we’ve experienced!! Much variety of breakfast items, and all were delicious!!"

"Perfect place for those taking a cruise from Southampton. We walked to the Sea City Museum. Hotel is close to the port and the train station."
