"We loved the location. The property is tired and in need of a bit of refreshing. Give more money to the National Park System! Rooms have been updated somewhere in the past 5-10 years. Mattresses were worn, cob webs with cocoons over entry door was a bit gross. All balcony views at one time may have been “far” but not anymore. The room was clean, towels thin but clean, coffee Kurig maker worked well. It would have been nice to have had an ice machine near by. Instead, I walked 2 levels down for ice. All in all, for our 2 night stay, we had an excellent time and slept comfortably once we obtained blankets and extra towels from the office."

"Only stayed one day during my mesa Verde visit. Liked the property and breakfast. Worth for the money. I stayed few hotels during my trip. I liked this one"

"First off this is an older hotel but it's nonetheless quite nice and comfortable. It's in a good part of town, not far from a large grocery store (important if your making any hikes, treks in the nearby parks and trails as you can then make your own sandwiches and buy ample beverages for your journeys). The room was clean and HUGE with ample parking. The bed was comfortable and the bedding, especially the pillows were excellent. The town is great, a bit quaint but inviting. I saw there were two "old school" movie theaters in operation on the main drag which if I were staying longer I would have gone to... . Local people are approachable and friendly. Again, this is an older hotel but well kept and close to everything you could want at an affordable price."
