"Great hotel, pool fab and lots of sun beds around the pool. Bar food great. Basic breakfast but fine. Minimum staff but they are very helpful and efficient. Only annoying thing is the bedsheets….they don’t fit the beds well and pull away exposing the mattress…admittedly I move around a lot ! So this may not have helped. Air con great. Efficient and quiet… Would definitely return. "

"WOW what can I say location excellent, host whose name is Peter is a great guy with a lot of knowledge and gave us good tips. It was an amazing holiday we stayed 4 nights in June. We hired a car and saw all of the island of Rhodes. Everything is close by to falirala central. It’s not a 5 star but value for money. There is a restaurant called eat Greek downstairs and a place called olive pizza’s above it. Will stay there again if I visit Rhodes "

"The hotel is located on top of a hill, 100m above sea level, 1.5km outside of town, so you get a pretty nice view, but without a car it can get tiresome. "Lovely clean hotel run by a typical greek family. Its a bit of a walk into Faliriki but this means its quiet and relaxing round the pool, in fact sometimes we had it to ourselves. All nationalities here but everyone was friendly . Terry who runs it can't do enough for you, from helping with car rental, trips as well as running the bar and cooking all the meals in the snack bar, which were lovely and good value for money. "From start to finish everything was perfect . Free Wi-Fi, free safe and rooms cleaned everyday . Nothing was too much trouble . Mr Costas the owners elderly father in law insisted on taking us to Rhodes Town when we was having trouble getting a taxi . The cleaner was always bright and cheery and always stopped to ask if you was ok and needed anything . Plenty of quality sun beds with cushions. Towels also provided which was an added bonus . "Love embracing the culture away from the tourist traps. You don't really need a car. You can hire a taxi to get there and take the bus the rest of the time. Buses are reasonable only 3.30 euro from the town into the tourist cities. No need to look for parking in Rhodes or Lindos with the bus system. Bus station is maybe a 5- 8 minute walk. "The Citrus House offers a great location if you prefer a quiet environment away from the resorts. It's also spacipus, comfortable amd well-equipped - just what we needed after 10 days of fairly intense travelling (which is always wonderful, but exhausting!). We hired a car at superb rates from a provider recommended by the owner and found it very easy to explore the island from the base im Kalavarda. Comms was also exceptional. "
