  • Perfect family vacation destination.Beautiful home that sits right on Fish River, a nature lovers paradise. Perfect for a quiet getaway to kayak, fish , swim and enjoy nature. Also close to our gorgeous white sandy beaches in Gulf Shores Alabama and beautiful communities like Fairhope and Magnolia Springs. There are plenty of nature adventures to enjoy like the Weeks Bay Pitcher Bog and nature trail just 3 minutes from house. House has 3 beautiful bedrooms and space for air mattress if needed to accommodate your family. You also have your own private pier to fish, cookout or just enjoy all the wonderful nature surrounding you. Kayak and fishing rods are provided as well as multiple items for swimming . Beach towels are provided. Kitchen is stocked with all your needs for cooking as well as having a COFFEE/ TEA BAR for your enjoyment. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are provided for your pleasure. Luxury linens and spa like towels are provided to help your stay more enjoyable . Dove products are also supplied in both bathrooms for your use. Large smart TV in living room and a TV is in master bedroom . You can log in to your Netflix and other personal accounts. This is a perfect home to relax, play and enjoy nature at its best.

Great stay. Loved the area and home was very clean. Only thing I would recommend is updating property details that the grill is a very old treager. Also more detailed instructions in the book at the house about grill, fan on dock, where to find things would be nice. Other than that we loved it there.

Great relaxing getaway!

James’ Riverhouse on the Fish River was just what we needed. The house was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and very spacious. The dock was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Great neighbors, really enjoyed meeting them! Thanks James for sharing your home with us.

We will definitely stay again!

This house was great! Everything we needed was right there, the neighbors were nice, the location was perfectly located to shopping, beaches and restaurants. It was so easy to communicate with owners if we had questions.

Peaceful

We wanted a place that was quiet so we could enjoy time with our family. It rained allot but there is so much to do in the enclosed area that it was easily overcome. Great experience we will be back

So clean, comfortable beds, nice linens, very well equipped. Fast response with a question on fishing. So enjoyed our stay. Great neighbors and loved sharing a beer in the evening with Tony

House clean, well stocked for guests and lots of kitchen tools; kayaks were great; wood pellet on the pier a lot of fun; off the beaten path; we didn't use the fishing poles but they looked essentially new;

Great house in a great location!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. All communication in advance was prompt and seamless. Property was as described-so clean and totally stocked with everything we needed! Bed so comfortable. We especially enjoyed the dock-fishing and catching crabs. Location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and golf courses. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderfully quiet waterfront retreat!

We had a wonderful quiet few days of rest and relaxation. The house was very clean and comfortable. The coffee bar is a very nice touch. Our pups loved watching the birds and fish jump from the dock. We will definitely try to book again!

Peaceful River getaway

We spent a lot of time on the dock, since the weather was beautiful. Caught some crabs in the traps & used them for gumbo. The house had all that we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept great! Very enjoyable and hope to visit again soon!

Awesome river retreat!

The house was clean and had all the comforts you could ever want. Fully stocked kitchen, great mattresses and bed sheets, and the wharf was the best! We lounged on the hanging beds and sunbathed on the lily pad all day watching the boats go by. Host was very responsive and we appreciated all the care and details. Would definitely stay here again.
