  • Nestled in the heart of Carroll Valley, this charming 3-bedroom cabin offers the perfect escape for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with a crackling fireplace to keep you warm on chilly evenings. Gather your loved ones in the fully stocked kitchen, where you can whip up delicious meals using the provided appliances and utensils. Enjoy your culinary creations at the spacious dining table.

    There is so much to do! Interested in golf? There are several courses within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Hiking? Only 10 minutes to the trailhead for the Appalachian Trail. Not to mention the many state parks and state forests. And who can forget Catoctin National Park located right outside Thurmont, MD only 20 minutes away.

    There are two community pools located close by. One in Emmitsburg, MD and the other at Caledonia State Park, about 25 minutes away on Route 30.

    When you're not exploring the nearby attractions, such as the Gettysburg National Military Park and the Gettysburg Battlefield Museum, just a short drive away, relax on our front porch or back screen porch with your favorite beverage!

We came down with the idea of having a nice relaxing weekend going through the battle grounds and getting some rest. The cabin did not disappoint at all. On Sunday morning we saw no less than 15 deer all around the house. If I happen to come back this way again this is where I will be bringing my family.

Great getaway

Our favorite spot in the Gettysburg area. The house is peaceful and comfortable, fully stocked and very well maintained. We've stay several times and have never been disappointed. The owners are very responsive, always an enjoyable stay.

Quiet retreat

This cabin is clean, well maintained and spacious! The screened in back porch offered a quiet relaxation spot after busy days. Located a close drive to many good restaurants as well as historic Gettysburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again!!

Great Cabin - Perfect Experience

My family and I stayed in this cabin for a week. Location was perfect for our tour of Gettysburg Battlefield, Downtown Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful visit!
