Greated by a large stuffed 10'2" Coastal Brown Bear. Attentive front desk staff got us checked in and use of a luggage trolley.

This was a much needed nervous system reset after a week of traveling throughout Alaska. The staff was kind. The facility was clean. The room was enormous and comfortable. If/when we return, we will choose Bear Lodge again.

Exceptionally well maintained & clean rooms. However, terribly rude receptionist & especially the reception manager who forgot that she is working in hospitality industry, instead was acting as a proud owner of the property who doesn't care about the customers.

The property was clean. Staff need to work on being more welcoming to guests. The room is clean but missing items such as cups for the coffee and water and plastic lining for the ice bucket. There is a very nice restaurant, a bar, and a little cafe that adds convenience for guests.

The Bear Lodge was perfect for us. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Gave wonderful suggestions on things to do and places to see. Breakfast buffer was nicely done. Service tops! A free shuttle to the airport was appreciated. We would definitely stay that this hotel in the future.
