I highly recommend SAMOTEL. I ended up here after leaving the very dirty Hotel Consulate by Bookmerihotel where I had my original reservation. I am so glad I found SAMOTEL. It’s the best value for money I’ve had in my visits to 36+ countries. A modern touch with amazing staff. Everyone works hard to ensure a great stay. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be staying here again when I’m back in Kolkata.

No appropriate tissue paper, the tv & air con didn't work. There was dirty laundry in the room. There was no duvet, people sleeping in the reception which was locked and had the lights shut. I had to bang on the door to wake the owner up when the website says that reception is 24 hours. They also did not provide breakfast when i had paid for this.
