「Great hotel for a great price. Dog friendly but if you don't have dogs, don't worry, there is absolutely no sign dogs have ever been in the rooms, no lingering dog smells etc. I've stayed here twice and on the second stay was in a room facing the road. I'm a light sleeper but wasn't woken by the traffic at all. There's no Aircon in the rooms but you are provided with a fan so be aware if you run hot. 「If you are looking for a spot that has character this, is it, it was a cozy old place above a pub. We went in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice little bookshelf filled with some fun activities to pass extra time off devices too! The food in the pub was not great for the price we paid, but the breakfast was amazing! 」

「宿泊前日の夜に急遽予約したが、問題なく部屋も鍵も用意されており、チェックインは完璧な対応だった。 駐車場は事前にホテルからメール頂いた通り、部屋数と比較して駐車場のスロット数は少ないので、早目の訪問がおすすめ。 自分は16時前の到着でも空きが1台分しかなかった。 ホテルは本館と別館に分かれていて、自分は別館宿泊だったが、両方とも年期の入った建物なので人が歩くとギシギシいうのは仕方ないかと思う。 併設のレストランは美味しくサービスも良好。朝食のフルイングリッシュブレックファストも美味しかった。 ベイクウェルに泊まるなら、間違いは無いホテルだと思う。」

「We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. 「Absolutely fantastic property. Messaging the owner was simple, with quick responses. Great neighborhood. Easy 5 minute walk (downhill) to shops, pubs and restaurants. A little longer (and more work) back up the hill. Extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to get to local estates and attractions. If renting a car, get the smallest you can as the streets in and around Bakewell are very narrow. Would rent again!」
