"They might want to talk to their front desk employees the way they explain things to guest checking in. We got to the hotel earlier than check in, I asked if my room was ready & I was told YES, but If I wanted to check in before 4pm it would be $50...? Really? Come on? How do you think that came across to someone who is paying $1154.00 to stay at your hotel? That was in bad taste, in my opinion."

"We stayed for Vandy’s parents weekend. It has great proximity to the school for the price. The property is clean. The staff is friendly. But it is a little worn. If you are looking for a close and relatively cheap/moderately priced hotel, this is great."

"We stayed for 4 days we had to continually ask for clean towels, toilet paper and hand soap. Room service never came to clean our room or dump trashes or Make beds. We never even used the do not disturb sign our entire stay not sure why this was missed."

"So to preface, we travel multiple times per year to Nashville. This is a nicer hotel, so I tend to expect more for the price. The Kimpton Aertson is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The décor is gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour. The valet attendants and young men working outside were absolutely wonderful; so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank-you also goes to the kind woman who stored our luggage when we arrived. There were so many cars that I couldn’t even get out near the entrance, but she went out of her way to help us even though we weren’t parking at the hotel. Unfortunately, the service inside the hotel was inconsistent. The young woman who checked me out was not friendly, & I had similar experiences with a couple of employees during happy hour. I was also disappointed to discover an additional destination or amenity fee. I booked through Hotels.com, so the lack of clarity may have been more of a Hotels.com issue. However, after reading more about the fee, it appeared that certain benefits or credits were included in return. No one at the front desk ever explained the fee or told us how to use those benefits, which made the charge especially frustrating. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with a terrific location."
