「A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). Condensation issues in there led to a bit of mould too on the walls. Decor everywhere else was...

「Nous avons apprécié le design de l’hôtel ainsi que son emplacement (à distance de marche de la station de train et à distance de marche du centre, quartier tranquille). Par contre, la propreté n’était pas parfaite, nous y avons retrouvé quelques amas de poussière. Il n’y avait pas de débarbouillette pour le visage et le shampoing et le savon dans la douche semblaient avoir été laissés par des clients précédents (produits de pharmacie bas de gamme)? Aussi nous voyagions avec nos jeunes enfants...

「This hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast, and is in a beautiful historic building that is in a walkable location. There are no staff on site except at breakfast, so communication is restricted to the Expedia message center or the phone number provided by the location inside the front door. There is no elevator (which we knew), so take this into account if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The positives - Great location and only a few minute walk to Ghent center on mostly flat...

「This place is an absolute jewel! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was our base to travel around. We had 2 larger rooms that were connected and it was well worth it! Luxurious rooms, impeccably clean and beautifully appointed! The location is central to everything and Sofi our hostess was crème de la crème! She is kind, welcoming, warm, caring and makes the best breakfasts! We LOVED this place and you will not be disappointed! 😎👏👏👏」

「Stains on the furniture and headboard of the bed. Stairs to get up to room were so narrow and dark - my husband rolled his ankle trying to get up. Room was very dirty - and not well maintained. Would not recommend. Staff were not helpful nor present. 」
