"A blessing by chance. We missed our stop at Mykonos and had to detour to Ikaria. On the spot booked this hotel. We arrived and throughout our stay, we fell in love. Irene was the most sweetest and helpful person. The people of the town, also so nice and friendly. A beautiful hotel, accommodating, and a simple nice breakfast. "We stayed in this lovely home for a week with a total of eight family members. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us without feeling cramped. The house is newer construction with three nice bathrooms and a functional kitchen. The views are spectacular and you can hear the crashing waves as you fall asleep. The house is just outside Armenistis but close enough to walk to town. It's also a short car ride to Nas. I would rent this house again without hesitation."

"Hotel Anthemis is a family run/operated hotel located in the heart of Therma. Rooms and common areas are cleaned regularly and fresh linens/towels provided (every other day). Hot water can be tricky in winter months as the solar powered water heaters are the source. You may want to avoid taking showers late at night or early in the morning, unless you like cold showers. Rooms have all the basics as well as mini fridges and safes. Staff is ever smiling and eager to assist you in anyway they can, whether you need a rental car or a taxi/cab ride to the airport, they make it happen. Breakfast is not served during winter, only offered in Summer months. Sometimes noise (especially bathroom) seem to travel between rooms little more than you would expect but it is certainly not a deal breaker."
