"VERY small room in basement. Poor to no ventilation. My son and I each had a shower ( NOT long ones either) and it took a solid two hours for the humidity to drop back. Access and egress from the room was very poor steep narrow stairs and halls would have been an absolute nightmare in a fire situation. The staff were good and helpful but the facility absolutely sucks unfortunately."

"this hotel is incredibly convenient to so many things - british museum, restaurants, bus stops, bus tours & the metro. i felt safe walking to any of these things. i had a tiny room but i didn't spend much time in it. london was colder than usual so the master heat had been turned off, however they had a portable heater that was brought to my room. toiletries & hair dryer were present in the room & the cleaning staff asked if you needed anything when they saw you in the hall. there is a lovely bar & restaurant although i didn't have any food. it has limited hours which didn't coincide with my time. however the bar is open of which i did partake. the most impressive thing about this hotel is a front desk person named siobhan. she was perfect for a first impression. when you walked to the desk she stopped conversing with her colleagues (unlike some others) and gave you her full attention. she was full of good information about stores, restaurants & the local area. if i was a hotel manager i would want her at my front desk. she was absolutely lovely!"

"I have stayed here many times. This time the experience was not so great. Room (tiny) overlooked the main road - 6th floor. Was noisy and very warm. Supplied ear plugs and fan completely useless. For £140 without breakfast (add another £17 for that) I was expecting a bit more. Location is still fantastic but think I will be looking at alternatives next time."

"Really nice hotel just opposite the Premier Inn where we normally stay. The price for this hotel was actually cheaper and it was so nice. The staff was so friendly and helpful and attentive. We left our bag we went off sightseeing came back to the room early evening really nice public spaces well equipped Room with a mini fridge nice shower lovely huge bed comfortable pillows can’t fault anything. Lovely lounge area downstairs to have a coffee or a drink if you’re killing half an hour or so will definitely return if the price is right."

"Location was perfect. Hotel was tidy. Very Zen, leave your electronics elsewhere feel (ie. No phone, no tv); which we were expecting. The most minimalistic environment I have ever seen. Room amenities do not exist. No closet, no dresser, no phone, no counter space for toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup, etc. There was not even a toilet paper holder. The shower pools to almost the entire bathroom space. No privacy, frosted glass for bathroom. My wife and I are close but we typically don't openly use the facilities together; until here. Unfortunately, there is no front desk or number to call that we could find for assistance. We only saw staff in the lobby. That said when asked for assistance they were accommodating. We were staying for 5 nights and having had no service to our room we asked for new towels on the 4th day and got them. We received new linens and towels on the 5th day. Early check-in and check-out also cost extra. If you are a minimalist and location is key, this will work for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere."
