Perfect for a weekend getaway, or a relaxing setting for your business trip. Roomy studio with amazing views. Convenient to all locations in Eureka and Humboldt. Room for two adults for now, pet-friendly for up to two small critters! Kids can sleep on the floor or couch if needed. ***RECENTLY UPDATED!!! See latest pictures! Stunning Property

This place is a true hidden gem. The house was immaculate—spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly inviting. Kate welcomed us so warmly upon arrival that it immediately felt like home. After a long day of travel, it was exactly what we needed. As a thoughtful gesture, she even sent me home with some flowers. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Relax with a View

Kate (and Ollie!) are welcoming and friendly. The Boathouse is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The views are fantastic and there are so many options for food and recreation nearby. Look forward to our next stay love the location.

The Boathouse Rocks!

Excellent place to stay on the south edge of Eureka. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the private balcony.We would stay at the Boathouse again, for certain. It was perfect for two adults and our mini berniedoodle.

As Good As It Gets

This is a wonderful place to stay. The host is tremendous - responsive and very friendly. The view from the balcony is awesome - the sunsets are gorgeous over the bay. Just off 101, it's easy to get to wherever you want to go. Kitchen is well stocked. We will be back!!!

Beautiful, relaxing getaway!

The Boat House was the perfect getaway from the desert heat. Although it’s close to the 101 with easy access to beaches and majesty of the Redwoods, it has a rural feel, quiet and private. Beautiful inside and out. Spotless, super-soft linens and a comfy bed, personal touches everywhere. Kate and Ollie were warm and welcoming, the perfect hosts. Would love to visit again! I highly recommend!

Great get away spot

This place is a studio apartment with a wonderful view of the bay; sunsets are exceptional there. The host is wonderful and very responsive to all communications. Great internet speed, very well stocked kitchen and refrigerator. Access is close to the 101 which makes it easy to get where you want to be. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back. Being pet friendly is also a big deal for us.

Boathouse the best

Our stay here could not have been better. The Boathouse was the perfect property for my husband and I. It was quiet , just the right size, stocked with all the right stuff. Kate was a wonderful host and so accommodating. We felt very safe and relaxed. So nice to stay in a reasonably priced home as opposed to a noisy hotel. Easy access to the local area. We highly recommend and will definitely stay the next time we come to town. Great distant view of the bay and so nice to hear the fog horn in the distance.

Great little place to stay!

The studio was clean and well laid out. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything you could need. Kate was warm and welcoming and Ollie was a charming little guy. Close (20 minutes)to Headwaters Forest Reserve where we had a beautiful hike through the Redwoods. We loved the walks along the bay (close by) and spectacular sunsets visible from the deck. It’s a short drive to old town with cute shops and 2 real bookstores. The zoo/redwood skywalk is also a short drive. The Boathouse was a perfect place for us to stay and we recommend to anyone visiting Eureka.

Peaceful. 4th of july

Yearly coast trip for me, my adult son and our yorkies. Bed was comfortable for me we took cot for my son. KATE was very sweet. We enjoyed being able to access Eureka and north coast . Pretty close to 101.but not too close. Great walking trail close drive from the house. Very reasonable cost too. Do plan to return..

A cozy home away from home!

We enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse! This is also our first time using VRBO, literally registered to be able to book the boathouse, it was worth it! The nautical theme gives it great character and makes the space a home, it has all the amenities you need while away on vacation. Kate and her pup Ollie were very welcoming, greeting us as we arrive and took the time to say goodbye as we checked out. They were truly a very important part of what makes our stay memorable. Other bonuses include the sound from the pond feature that made it extra relaxing when we opened the windows and the sunset view being spectacular. The guesthouse is close to the freeway and town proper, a perfect spot for anyone exploring Eureka or Humboldt county. Would definitely recommend this place.

Making lifelong friend theu Vrbo

I had never rented through Vrbo before. 1st time experience in a gorgeous place called the Boat house. The manager Kate is an amazing lady. I abolutely love her and how much love she put into the place i stayed in. If id known how much i would enjoy my stay, i would of added a day or 2 more. Exceptional Stay at the Boathouse

This is a great place to stay while enjoying the National and State Redwood parks! There are also so many things to do in and around Eureka area! The Boathouse is so comfortable and cozy and Katie and Ollie are great hosts!
