The property was easily one of the most unique experiences, apparently they’re newer to VRBO so setting up and arriving was clunky at first but as soon as I made contact with the host Michaela, it was smooth sailing from there and things were not confusing. Check in and out were clear! Cozy place and there was a bevy of things to do close by, an excellent North Star if you’re visiting Humboldt County for the first time!...

"This is a beautiful hotel and a great deal for the price! They have their own parking, plus plenty of street parking. Our room was lovely, though some might complain that the bathroom was small. But if you've stayed in historic homes or hotels before that's pretty typical. It was really quiet day and night, and there are shops, restaurants and an art museum within walking distance. Would have loved a little tour of the closed doors (restaurants? event rooms?) in the hotel because we were curious. I bet it's beautiful decorated for the holidays. Will stay again if we are in the area!"

"Requested room service for our stay. On coming back from our first day out, we found that the room was not cleaned. We were told that the staff came by to service the room at around 8:30 to 9:00 am in the morning. We had the do not disturb sign on the door because we were still in the room. We were going for the breakfast at around nine AM. When my wife called the front desk, the staff was not very attentive to our concerns. She was told that we could come to the front desk and pick up the need towels."

"It was clean, as well as smelled clean. The sheets felt great, bed was comfy, and they had pillows for every comfort level. The location was good-pretty quiet at night, and across from Natural Grocers, and 4 blocks from the center of Old Town. The secure parking was a relief. The bathroom was super clean. Will stay there again!"

"Weird but not terrible to check in with a computer and not a person. Weren’t expecting the $100 deposit. Would have been nice to know about. Kind of odd chemical smell from the bathroom but otherwise- everything was clean, bed was decently comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet. Not bad for the price."
