「While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow」

「The house is super cute. Nice neighborhood. Everything was set up with intention. Every detail thought out and covered. Kitchen is very well equipped. The place was very clean. Live plants are a nice touch.The bathroom/sink is tight but was not an issue for us. The host had excellent communication. We will recommend to friends traveling through Eureka and would stay again. WAY better than any of the hotels we saw in town.」

「Lovely place and just the right size for two people. Private and quiet. Super comfortable bed. Good location for walking to a few key places nearby. As seniors, it was a bit tricky to follow the rule to take shoes off outside and leave them outside (as opposed to taking them off on the mat immediately after entering), as it was difficult to then lift our bags in/out the door without getting damp/cold socks; but we managed! Would definitely stay here again.」
