"We couldn’t ask for a better first day. It was Day 1 of our first real vacation in 5 years. We wanted to go back to a happy place.The Carter House Inn was that place. We had not been in Eureka in over 25 years. It was 100% better than before, and it was nice then. Beds were just right, beautiful styled comfortable rooms. It was wonderfully qui We had cocktails before dinner. It was a pleasure to just relax in a wonderful atmosphere with terrific staff. Dinner and Breakfast were done with great attention and detail."
