  • Walk to almost everything from this charming loft in downtown Arcata. Part of a lovely historic home, this rental features private access via a staircase in the back, a furnished deck area, a full kitchen, and a relaxing living area with a flat-screen TV and a small table for dining or setting up your laptop. Out back you'll find an enclosed back yard complete with a gas grill and an outdoor Ping-Pong table! Guests will also enjoy access to a shared lounge area and a three-person sauna!

    Things to know:
    Full kitchen (no dishwasher)
    The family dog is welcome to join you here (1 dog max, $18 pet fee applies)
    Shared laundry facilities and infrared sauna
    Four beach cruiser bicycles available (shared with other units in triplex)
    Fast Wifi (83 mbps download speed, 25 mbps upload speed, 15ms latency)
    This rental is located around the back of the house on the second floor
    1 40 AMP quick charge EV charger in driveway (shared with triplex) $1 per 10 miles honor system
    We are very happy to be able to offer a hot tub and a sauna at this location. Please note that the Hot Tub does reach regular temperatures of 100 - 104 F. The Infrared Sauna however often reaches only 115 - 120 F, as opposed to a traditional wet sauna that may reach up to 140 F

    A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

    Parking Notes: We cannot guarantee a spot in the driveway as they are shared between guests of all three units on a first-come, first-served basis. Ample street parking is available for guest use. Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter.

    This home is located within a couple blocks of restaurants, cafes, bars, the Far North Climbing Gym, the Arcata Food Co-Op, and the Plaza. If you are heading to Cal Poly Humboldt, you are only about 12 blocks from campus. And if you want to hit the beach, this rental is just four miles from Ma-le'l Dunes Park and five miles from Humboldt Beach and the Dunes Trail.

This loft was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is a lovely location walkable to all downtown Arcata things and was also just a nice place to hang out. The jacuzzi, sauna and bikes are wonderful extras.

Quiet, Clean, Cozy Little Loft

This place is a gem. We loved how close it was to everything in town. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was convenient. The building seemed to be a little bit at a slant and felt a little dizzying once in awhile, but otherwise was great! We loved it and would absolutely stay there again.

This is our favorite place to stay when we are in the area. We have stayed here three times already. We love being able to walk to the shops and area is so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay at the downtown loft. The location was great and we were comfortable in the very clean rental. It was great to have our dog with us and she enjoyed playing with other guest’s dogs in the yard while we were there. The only issue we had was with the listing description of “full sized kitchen”. For example, there is an oven but there are no pans to use in the oven.

Sweet Retreat

This was the perfect way to spend my birthday week. Was able to walk to the Arcata Playhouse and Minor Theatre to see shows. Shopping at the Coop a very short jaunt. Even the massage I treated myself to at the Arcata Lomi Massage and facial at Soul to Soul were walking distance. Not to mention great restaurants within walking distance. It was great to not have to drive everywhere.

Cute loft in excellent location

This was my third time staying here and I will likely be back despite the fact that is a little rough around the edges. It is so perfectly located and quite charming. It’s a great launchpad for exploring HumCo as well a quiet spot if you’re coming to Arcata for R & R.
