  • Walk to almost everything from this charming loft in downtown Arcata. Part of a lovely historic home, this rental features private access via a staircase in the back, a furnished deck area, a full kitchen, and a relaxing living area with a flat-screen TV and a small table for dining or setting up your laptop. Out back you'll find an enclosed back yard complete with a gas grill and an outdoor Ping-Pong table! Guests will also enjoy access to a shared lounge area and a three-person sauna!

    Things to know:
    Full kitchen (no dishwasher)
    The family dog is welcome to join you here (1 dog max, $18 pet fee applies)
    Shared laundry facilities and infrared sauna
    Four beach cruiser bicycles available (shared with other units in triplex)
    Fast Wifi (83 mbps download speed, 25 mbps upload speed, 15ms latency)
    This rental is located around the back of the house on the second floor
    1 40 AMP quick charge EV charger in driveway (shared with triplex) $1 per 10 miles honor system
    We are very happy to be able to offer a hot tub and a sauna at this location. Please note that the Hot Tub does reach regular temperatures of 100 - 104 F. The Infrared Sauna however often reaches only 115 - 120 F, as opposed to a traditional wet sauna that may reach up to 140 F

    A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

    Parking Notes: We cannot guarantee a spot in the driveway as they are shared between guests of all three units on a first-come, first-served basis. Ample street parking is available for guest use. Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter.

    What's nearby:
    This home is located within a couple blocks of restaurants, cafes, bars, the Far North Climbing Gym, the Arcata Food Co-Op, and the Plaza. If you are heading to Cal Poly Humboldt, you are only about 12 blocks from campus. And if you want to hit the beach, this rental is just four miles from Ma-le'l Dunes Park and five miles from Humboldt Beach and the Dunes Trail.

Weekend stay in Arcata

This loft was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is a lovely location walkable to all downtown Arcata things and was also just a nice place to hang out. The jacuzzi, sauna and bikes are wonderful extras.

Perfect Spot

Very comfortable

It was very clean charming quiet had everything that you need nice towels, cooking utensils nice light convenient parking very pretty yard with a lovely garden fun comfortable place to stay and convenient to beaches and other sites around. Very nice VRBO , great for my 2 dogs too .

Quiet, Clean, Cozy Little Loft

This place is a gem. We loved how close it was to everything in town. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was convenient. The building seemed to be a little bit at a slant and felt a little dizzying once in awhile, but otherwise was great! We loved it and would absolutely stay there again.

The loft was charming and quaint and as pictured. The yard was quiet and nicely landscaped and parking was adequate. The loft is quite small and up several stairs ( 2 1/2flights) so could be challenging for some guests. It was clean but the upholstered chair in the bedroom needs a deep cleaning as it smells from urine so we did not use it. The front door has 1-2 inches of daylight above it and the blinds on it were quite damaged and should be replaced.

Loved my stay! Very comfortable quiet space. The first night there was a raucous family in the hot tub and they drained all the water but the next morning the management company was out and cleaned it and filled it! Very responsive!

Cute loft in excellent location

This was my third time staying here and I will likely be back despite the fact that is a little rough around the edges. It is so perfectly located and quite charming. It’s a great launchpad for exploring HumCo as well a quiet spot if you’re coming to Arcata for R & R.

This is our favorite place to stay when we are in the area. We have stayed here three times already. We love being able to walk to the shops and area is so peaceful. The property is so well maintained. We have stayed in the loft and the downstairs area too. We definitely recommend this beautiful home!

Cute apartment!

The location was great, and this loft was a sweet spot. Loved the yard and the access to hot tub/sauna. I especially like being able to bring my doggie. Would rent again!

Lovely Loft

My favorite Vrbo so far. Dog friendly with large fenced yard. Very clean, well equipped and within walking distance to everything. The hot tub was a bonus.

Lovely Stay

The property was well maintained and convenient to local eateries. It was not so close to our destination of the redwoods , we had a bit of a drive to get there .
