"The property is absolutely charming! When you pull up you feel immediately welcome. The yard is perfectly maintained and beautiful. The cute little cottage was perfect for our needs, just big enough for us. We had enough room when my daughter - whom we came to visit - had plenty of room with her friend to come hang out and play games. The only bummer I have to point out is the lack of fencing. I saw the fences in the pictures and never realized that they do not connect to the house. I thought...

I would not consider it dog-friendly - lots of stairs and the deer (while cool to admire as a human) were not interested in sharing the yard with my pup! I would also travel light due to the stairs. The host was more than helpful though, I would come back! Check in while the sun is still out, it gets dark fast!"

"Beautiful place loved it. We believe the listing should be rewritten to say sleep 8 not 12. There are only beds for 8. Air beds should not be included as they are something to provide extra if needed. Also having some sound proofing pictures on walls area rug something to absorb sound. It can get very loud with lots of voices. Also not enough silverware and coffee mugs when all are adults. Again you your place is beautiful and we really did enjoy our stay."

There was a minor slip-up this time, in getting us the entry code in a timely manner, but the host simply goofed, and took full responsibility, which is much better than the denial and guest-blaming we've encountered elsewhere.
