The property was fantastic! The moment we walked in it felt like home. The view from the backside is the best part of the property. The pictures from the listing doesn’t do it any justice as it had fantastic views from the elevated walk out deck as well as the hot tub. It was about 5 minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and about the same for downtown Estes Park. There is a herd (about 20) of elk that frequent the property. They seem to hang out within a quarter of a mile from the back. The last day we witness two bull elk fighting which was a great spectacle. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The kitchen area was large enough for everybody to have own space. It was an open concept with the living room right there. There were three bedrooms. We had two adults and three kids 6-13. We only used two bedrooms as one of the lower bedrooms had a bunk bed in it. The beds for the bunk beds top and bottom were no smaller than a full size bed. So all three of our kids slept in that room. The second bedroom in lower level had a king size bed and private walk in shower bathroom with heated floors. The main bedroom on main floor had own walk in shower bathroom. King size bed was great. There was no shortage of televisions in the place. We have booked mark this property if we ever return to Estes Park or will tell people whom are going to look at this place.
