I had an enjoyable experience overall, not because of the room, but because of the location, which is absolutely perfect. You’re right in the middle of EVERYTHING in San Juan. Pros: • Excellent location, walkable to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. • Friendly and kind staff. • The open bar saved me a lot of money. • Adults-only and key-code entry made it feel secure. • Amazing roof top view Cons: • When I arrived around 8:45 PM, check-in was delayed because the one attendant was also serving drinks. There should be separate staff for bar and reception. • The building is old, which I expected, but some aspects felt more neglected than vintage. • The floor was visibly mopped but still felt dirty. Stains on the curtains didn’t help. • The bathroom setup is outdated—you can’t flush toilet paper and must throw it in the trash. • There were ceiling leaks in the hallway and a sign about a $25 charge per item, for makeup-stained towels/linen. 😳 • The towels in the bathroom looked extremely dingy—off white, and in need of replacement so I didn’t use them. It’s not worth more than $150 per night for the room alone, but the location is what you’re paying for—and that part is priceless. I’d stay again for a night or two max. Hopefully, some of the revenue is used to improve the plumbing and cleanliness. This place has potential with a little more care.

We loved our stay. It was the perfect location. Tostado(perfect breakfast and coffee spot)right around the corner. By Thursday, an awesome food truck appeared in the parking lot and we got to experience amazing food. These were the authentic views from Apt. 5. We had the whole rooftop to ourselves and from the kitchen could view the massive cruise ships coming in. AC worked like a charm. Quiet at night. Safe. Staff very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Only complaint was the bathroom clogging up after each shower. After the 4th night of staying, we discovered that the filter in the shower drain was clogged. Since this occured late night we just unclogged the drain ourselves by cleaning out the drain trap. This fixed the issue and we no longer had a clogged drain. Other than this experience, the stay was overall great. The staff was always welcoming and helpfull with all of our questions.

There was a musty smell everywhere, including our room. The lobby lacks any natural light. Open buffet breakfast was mediocre for the price.

I loved the whole planning process from day one. OLV'S communication via text and phone was extremely professional. Upon arrival to valet service top of the line and friendly. Inside was greated by two very sweet and professional ladies working the front desk, was taken to my room and was shown how to work everything. The room was amazing aka mouth dropping top of the line, robes, various drinks incl. water, a safe for valuables etc too much to mention all plus concierge and room service. Wow. Thanks You Staff.
