Chateau Wollemi is situated on 35 pristine acres in Essington, a 15 minute drive from Oberon NSW. Your country stay is located on a majestic plateau on the western ridge of the Blue Mountains, where kangaroos and birdlife abound. The unforgettable Mayfield Gardens is a short drive from the property, as is Jenolan Caves and the Abercrombie National Park if you like to hike, swim or fish. The area boasts local wineries, truffle hunting when in season, antique shopping and country pubs for lazy lunches. In warmer months Lake Lyall is popular for water sports, as is Chifley Dam. At over 1100 metres above sea level, snowfall is not uncommon in winter.
