"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing. "Choose this hotel as it was convenient en route to our greater trip. What a delightful choice, a 19th century town house tastefully renovated, maintaining it's historical features and charm. The hostess was a pleasure to meet, greeting us with a friendly and helpful manner, giving us information on where to eat along with the history of the building and town. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean, the lounge & breakfast rooms were full of character, the breakfast was lovely and we had tea/coffee available at anytime."
