Comfortable home, great location

Enjoy your stay in Escalante at our comfortable Powell Point Paradise. There is plenty of room for the whole family, large back yard with fire pit to enjoy evenings, beautiful views of the Escalante Grand Staircase and so much more. Centrally located, you are walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops etc. Escalante is located along the famous Scenic Byway 12.

The Space
Master bedroom: king size bed, walk-in closet, and master bathroom.

Dining room, two living room spaces, 2 TVs with Roku, dining room, kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, covered front porch, several fruit trees, and patio in the back with fire pit.

Corrals in back if you happen to be traveling with livestock.
Beautiful hikes, including many slot canyons close by, or short drives to Bryce Canyon National Park and Capital Reef National Park.

I'm sure it was an oversight, but dishwasher and dryer were not emptied upon arrival. If you're looking for high end, this is not the place. Could definitely use some updates. But house was in a great location, very clean, had comfortable beds, and met our needs.

From pre-arrival all the way through the stay to departure, our experience was terrific! Our host communicated timely, accurately and was so helpful with a few local objectives we had. Description and pics not accurate

Exterior: weeds everywhere. Pictures were taken immediately after the landscaping installation. The landscaping has not been kept up. Interior: hood over stove was literally dripping grease and dirt into our food while we cooked. We removed the vents and cleaned them multiple times for the next visitors. Clearly those maintaining the property are not doing the proper cleaning. The oven was horrific. Very out dated trailer house, cabinets are peeling, furniture is very warn out with many stains. Don’t let the pictures and reviews fool you. Would not recommend this property.

Family vaca

It was clean and very pleasant. Quiet and peaceful. We hiked calf creek falls that day and it was a fantastic home to come to. Had enough hot water for everyone to shower. Loved it. There was also enough seating for everyone.

The house included everything we needed.

This is a large single-story house with a master bedroom at one end, 3 medium-sized bedrooms clustered at the other end with two living rooms and a kitchen in between. The quality of construction and furniture were basic, but everything worked well. The location in town was perfect for us. The house fit our needs well.

Great place for hiking group

Very clean and large with 2 fridges - great for a group of friends! Great location to walk to town. Lots of parking so having many cars not a problem.
