"We toured northern Spain and stayed at 6 properties. When we pulled into the Parador, I thought I had made a mistake. I tend to be frugal and couldn't believe I got this good a value for the money. A huge relief for us by this time was to simply park the car securely in a large hotel lot. Beware of what other properties call 'parking included'. The million dollar view comes with your stay. It' s a nice walk to the inner city but far enough to be away from any noise."

"The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the Plaza Mayor. The rooms are clean and well maintained, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful. The breakfast room looks right onto the plaza. The staff are really helpful they even packed breakfast for us because we had an early morning train. We would stay again."

"We booked this as a stop on our drive from Lisbon to Madrid for a relaxing, non-city location to recharge and it was perfect! The wine tasting was wonderful and their on property restaurant was delicious. We want to return with family for a long weekend. It was a very rejuvenating experience. Try the confit leeks. They were phenomenal!"

"The staff was extremely helpful and the parking was very convenient right under the hotel. Only issue was a small shower that had very poor water pressure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Salamanca."
