Beautiful House

Very comfortable, large home in secluded area with spectacular view. The oregano and mint growing wild was an extra treat. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Large house in a quiet environment

Very nice house with amazing view on Trapani and its salt marshes, located in a quiet environment. Paola and Enzo are nice and attentive hosts. The house is well equipped, a real second home!

Misleading

The review would be better if the house had, in fact, been three bedrooms. But there was one nice bedroom with queen and one small bedroom with single, then an attic-loft arrangement with two queens that was reached by a five-step ladder -- dangerous at night. The attic ceiling sloped low and it was hot. The views from the house are fantastic, the kitchen and patio large and very pleasant. There is only one dim lamp in the living room. The host does not speak English.

The house was very spacious, large kitchen, cosy lounge, big bedrooms. 2 showers & large outside spaces with amazing viewsIt was very quiet and peaceful no noises what so ever Paolo was a great host and always on hand if needed anything and gave some good suggestions. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was nice and cleanThere were restaurants, bakeries close by and beaches/trapani 30 mins away by car

Very nice house with a lot of room and beautiful panoramic views. A great alternative to staying inside the old town of Erice. It’s only a couple of minutes away. But, if you plan to only visit Erice one day, I would recommend staying inside Trapani as the roads to the top are extremely winding and somewhat difficult to navigate, especially after dark. The host Paola was wonderful.

Gorgeous views. Beautiful villa! Lovely hosts!

We loved Casa Santa just down the hill from one of Sicily’s most iconic and beautiful hill towns—Ericé. You are perched on a hill and can see the castle in Erice and the sea and islands off the coast, This is the casa of your Italian imagination—built centuries ago—you can feel the history. Great kitchen and garden areas, 2 bedrooms plus sleeping loft with 3 beds, 2 full baths, pizza oven outdoors, indoor fireplace.....and a lot of ambiance. Very much recommended. Car suggested, as it’s a drive up a windy road from Trapani and about a kilometer up to Erice! Erice is wonderful! Home to the most famous Italian pastry shop! Vivenzo and Paola are super nice!

Great place!

We had a great time! The house was located very private with green surroundings and amazing view. The kitchen had all we needed and the house is very spacious. I’m the end we spent most of the time outside on the terrace with a dining table and a hammock. Paola was very quick in answering any questions we had. The only negative thing was the house next door had dogs that was barking during the night which sometimes made it hard to sleep. But we would recommend the house and would book it again.
