"There was a lot of construction work and noise due to the flooding in the past. The view from our balcony window overlooks the large construction area. Not the trees in fall color I was looking for."
"My negatives about the hotel were mostly about the common areas, parking, breakfast, and perhaps unfairly, the staff. The room itself was very, very good, clean, relatively quiet with good bedding and OK bathroom facilities. The location was wonderful. right in the center of the downtown, just a block away from nearly all the nicest restaurants and interesting shops. I found the common areas were not as clean as I would have liked in some place, like the elevator. The breakfast, was just barely below what I would have expected at a budget hotel. All of the staff were OK, except for maybe one, but the reason for it could be that they seemed to be overworked, having to do too many jobs at once, leaving some functions for guests either slow or just not available at one time or another. The parking was fine if you get to the hotel at the "right" time, when good (wide enough) parking spaces are available. Some of the spaces were so narrow that they were not suited to anything bigger than the smallest car, especially since the open area between the hotel and the parking space was so small that maneuvering into the space was very difficult because of the sharp angle necessary to steer into it. There were more wide spots available, surrounded by more open room to park, but if the hotel is fully booked, you might have difficulty finding one of them or any at all, at any given time. There was a sign, however, that said some hotel employee could assist you."
"The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean and the location great if you care to visit the Biltmore. Plenty of activities to do, so very entertaining too."
"Jenn the front desk manager was very helpful and accommodating. Jenn went out of her way several times to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed.
Hayden was very helpful by making sure our breakfast was delicious.
Excellent service at this hotel."
