The Perfect Getaway with Private Beach Access

Enjoy private beach access! Take the complimentary water taxi to Palm Island, grab a bite and a beverage at Rum Bay and relax on the private beach! This 1 bedroom/1 bath unit features a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a large, screened lanai. You will have everything you need to feel at home on your vacation, including Wi-Fi and cable tv, swimming pool, and spa. We are just minutes to gorgeous beaches, golf courses and world class fishing. This condo is located on the mainland of Palm Island Resort with a panoramic view of the boats in the marina and the Inter-Coastal Waterway. Harbortown Village is located just minutes to Boca Grande, Manasota Key, shopping, restaurants, golf, unspoiled beaches, and world class fishing. Deep water slips and covered dry boat storage available through the marina. Private fishing charters are also available nearby. Bring your boat and fishing gear or hire a guide for an excellent fishing adventure or bring your golf clubs and experience some of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Southwest Florida all just minutes from Harbortown Village. Most importantly, enjoy a relaxing time away from the daily stresses of life at this off the beaten path destination with an old Florida feel where you can watch the manatees and dolphins from the lanai. We supply beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler to enjoy your day on our gorgeous beaches!

Hidden Gem

This property is absolutely a little gem! Very clean, very comfortable, well stocked, and a great location. I couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The Owners of this property really are providing a great place to stay.To be fair, this is a property that is well suited for 1-2 people, not for a full family stay.

Great location

Margie was wonderful. There was a couple little problems but were taken care of right away. Fantastic view of the marina. We sat there every morning and evening. The pool was not up and running because of the hurricane but the was on the management and not Margie and her husband.

Excellent vacation spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Placida even though it was relatively short. We were totally comfortable in this condo and especially enjoyed being able to sit out on the screened in balcony. Watching the boats is so relaxing. We even saw a manatee! Everything we needed was available. It was very clean and well maintained. The host, Margie, was only a text away and accessible at a moment's notice. We would stay here again in a second. Thank you! Nancy

Marina life

This condo overlooks a marina. We enjoyed watching the boats going out and coming in. Plus we saw manatee and dolphins right from our lanai. The place was clean and well-stocked and comfortable. Margie, the owner, was helpful and kind. We recommend The Perfect Getaway.

Short stay!

We loved our stay, very quiet and peaceful there. The pool and hot tub area was very nice and had a nice view of the intercoastal! The unit itself was well taken care of and we loved seeing the Manatee and dolphins. Our host Margie was wonderful to work with! Would stay again!

Great place to stay!

This is a nice, clean property for a couple to stay. Loved being able to drink a cup of coffee on the balcony and watch the marina putting boats in the water. Saw a dolphin and some matinees. The property owner was excellent about answering a couple of questions to get us going. Would stay there again!

Relaxing Stay

The property is quiet, comfortable, and has a pleasant marina view. We especially enjoyed long beach walks at nearby Boca Grande which is a short drive from the condo. Very relaxing 9 day day stay!

Perfect getaway

Just the perfect size for two! Loved the screened in porch. King size bed was super comfortable. Access to pool and hot tub with a less than two minute stroll past a few boats in the harbor. Two nice beaches within a 10 min drive. Actual gas grills on site (versus charcoal like many others) Owner SUPER responsive to any questions we had. There are stairs that you need to take to access the unit if you have accessibility issues, otherwise it's great being on the second floor for the view and also for no upstairs neighbors 😉 We would highly recommend this unit.

Change Of Pace

We were looking for a less crowded area and we found it! It was nice to drive in an area that is not wall to wall people. The beaches on Boca Grande are very nice with great accommodations. The access to fishing is everywhere in the area. The golf courses are close by as well. We took advantage of them all. Margie was always a text away with great insight into the best of services in the area. The pool area and the grounds at the Marina Condo are well kept. The boats in the small harbor are interesting just like the people. The working boat yard across the way got a bit loud at times while launching boats. We noticed this because of a few too many rain days. Those days were still far better than the snow storms of the north.

Best stay ever

From accessing the unit to check out it was a breeze. The owner was a phone call it text away!! She gave us several suggestions for places to eat and they were all amazing!! The area is so nice and peaceful!!! The unit pictures don’t do it justice!! Unit so nice and clean and updated and seriously the king size bed in the bedroom is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on!!! Great nights sleep each night. The deck was so great sitting out there having coffee in the mornings and cocktails at night. We will be going back and renting this place again!!!
