We had a nice stay overall, and the biggest strength here is the location. The neighborhood is friendly, walkable, and close to great restaurants and coffee shops along North Coast Highway 101. The living room is a highlight too, with plenty of space for four people to relax. That said, there are some real downsides. The kitchens and bathrooms feel dated and out of step with the rest of the house. Appliances are old, and the kitchen sink is badly stained and chipped, which makes it look dirty even when clean. A few sinks have hot and cold faucets reversed, so hot comes out on the right, which was confusing and unsafe for kids. We also had a dining chair collapse under our 10-year-old, leaving a nasty bruise. Storage is limited with no dressers in a couple bedrooms, and the hosts were inflexible about check-in, even when we arrived with small kids. In short, great location, comfortable living space, but considering the price and maintenance issues, we would probably look elsewhere next time.
