Nice large room with a huge balcony featuring a lovely mountain view. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was very spacious; a closing shower door would have been nice but thats a minor gripe. Location was convenient for the bus downtown, which was paid for thanks to the complimentary Lucerne travel card. Overall a very nice and peaceful stay - we would stay there again.

As a family of four we got the family room which was nice as the kids had bunk bed. Also free bus tickets to and fro to Lucerne which is only 21mins away and bus is every 7mins. The bus stop is literally 100m from the hotel.

Amazing stay in Room 301! The view from the terrace overlooking the mountains was superb. The room was the largest we've ever stayed in, despite our many years of traveling and booking hotels around the world. The breakfast was good, although the selection could be a little larger and offer more variety. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the receptionist was especially professional and welcoming. If we return to the Lucerne area in the future, this hotel will definitely be at the top of our list. Highly recommended!

The staff at the reception, kitchen and cleaning are amazing people. They did their jobs excellently each day and always ready to serve! The hotel itself is conveniently located, closed to bus stop and 10-15 minutes to Luzern station and nearby tourist spots, restaurants. Transportation like boats, buses, trains, etc that will bring you to your chosen destinations. Cheaper food markets are there too and is scattered everywhere. Overall, we had a wonderful time spent plus a beautiful weather during our stay from May 25-29.

The room was spacious and clean, even the bathroom! We had a room with a big balcony. The breakfast was sufficient. Personal was friendly! We stayed only one night, but I wouldn't mind to stay longer and I would for sure stay here again when I visit this region of Switzerland.

Nice people and modern building. Unfortuantelly was very hot and also with open windows was difficult to stay. The bed have a good mattress but the base of the bed was not flat with e side more loose than the other. One of my worst night in the last years.

It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Lux ... very conveniently located with a Coop closeby...bus station closeby to take bus 2 to Luzern station...room had air conditioner which was blissful in this hot July weather... and the Staff were amazing... really helpful...especially Mikhaila and Regina to mention and off course great breakfast that was included...I highly would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling this way

Very basic bed & breakfast hotel. They offer free parking outside, in front of the property. The stuff are friendly. The room was tight and very basic. It did not have a small fridge or air-conditioning. Happened to be there on a very hot day and it was quite hot in the room, despite a small portable fan type of cooling device on the floor, which was quite loud, but I had to use it to keep the room temperature to a bareable level. The breakfast was decent and included some eggs, cheese, coffee, tea, bread/cakes.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great variety for breakfast. Aircon worked well which was a good to have on warmer days. Bedroom was clean. Great location - near a Coop and bus stations Cons: Bathroom was the weakest point. Some debris was still left in the drain. There's a sign mentioning that flooding the bathroom would incur a charge. However, the seals around the shower door were broken off which allowed water to exit the shower area.

Value for money

I had a nice stay here. Being on a budget, I was OK that the hotel is about 15 mins easy bus trip from the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. Considering the price compared to the downtown hotels, I found it fantastic value for money.

Easy and nice

Perfcet hotel as a night stage in way from north to south Europe, close to highways with parking, clean and comfortable. Luzern is as well really close by car or train.
