Nice hotel, very close to all of the great things the gaslamp quarter has to offer. Room are spacious, although a little dated. The staff at the front desk are great but I found the staff in general simply ok.

Great budget hotel. Clean and convenient. The room air conditioner could have used some maintenance. The pool is not on the property it’s located down the street. However, the location and staff were amazing. Definitely would recommend.

Issue #1:
When I showed up at 3:30 (for a 3PM check-in), I was given a key to a room. When I went to the room, there was a maintenance person saying that the room would be ready in 30 minutes. I had to go down to the lobby and get moved to the room next door.
Issue #2:
The hotel was incredibly loud due to a wedding reception in the restaurant below. In fact, it was so loud I had to leave the hotel and go for a walk due to the sound and vibration in my room.
Issue #3:
I also got charged $12 for a damaged towel which they said was due to discoloration. The only way that towel could have been discolored was from something on the floor of the hotel room or their cleaning process.
Needless to say, I will never stay there again. And I recommend to anyone else to avoid this hotel.
