Find Hotel with a Concierge in Emerald Hill

We stayed at this hotel for a week. We liked the atmosphere in the hotel. Next to the hotel is a bus station, including for bus 36 which is a direct connection to the airport. Hotel is also near metro stations Orchard and Somerset. The area of the hotel is lively with lots of shops and restaurants. Great place to stay. Next to Paragon Mall, which has tons of things to buy and places to eat. Near Mt. E and all the doctors. Service is very good and they seem to be training a lot of staff, which I like.

Nice hotel in a great location. We love the Orchard Road area. The breakfast is very nice. We did not eat dinner there so can't comment on that. The standard rooms are smallish but well laid out. They were fine for our purpose as we did not spend much time in our room other than sleeping. I would certainly stay there again and would send my friends there.

This is really nicely designed, very pretty hotel near enough to downtown, but far enough away to be quiet. We booked this hotel partially because of the lush landscaping around the pool, ended up not making it to the pool during our stay, but enjoyed our room and the hotel in general very much. Our room was spacious, and the common areas were very nicely decorated. The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. There is a food pavilion with small restaurants and bars with live entertainment and TV's for sports in the lower courtyard. The MRT is a short walk. It’s quiet and accessible

This is my favourite property in Singapore. In fact I don't stay anywhere else. I have been travelling to Singapore for the last 11 years and I always stay here. Initially it was for business and now it is for pleasure. The reasons I prefer to stay here are endless. The room size is bigger than anywhere else I have ever stayed. I was there just for one short overnight stay, but I was really impressed with the hotel. Very comfortable, very clean and the staff were great. And the breakfast was excellent! You can order from an "ala carte buffet" menu which is kind of interesting, and all the items I ordered -- from typical Western bakery items and egg dishes to spicy Laksa -- were outstanding. Definitely consider this property when choosing a hotel in the area!
