"What a wonderful, charming location for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary and her birthday!. Very peaceful and quiet. The place was well maintained, the bed very comfortable. There is no tv but we think sitting out on the back deck listening to the birds, watching the deer was better than any tv. Also, the fishing was great and the neighbor Tom was ok with me going through his property to get to the dock. I ended up catching 10 good sized ones (bass, catfish and perch). The towns of Gilmer and Jefferson are short drives away for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend Fetanetti's in Gilmer. Also, if you want some great laughs take in one of the drive through safaris. Lots of friendly animals that will surprise you. Frank and Linda were very gracious hosts providing us with cookies, apple/cinnamon muffins...delicious! All in all we had a great time!!!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this property! It is exceptionally well-maintained, and you can tell the owners take genuine pride in keeping everything in top shape—right down to freshly replaced deck boards and railings on the first level of the two-tier patio. Even during a significant drought, the lawn was kept green and watered, making it wonderful to walk barefoot or stroll with our dog.Inside, the home was spotless, organized, and very comfortable. All four bedrooms were generously sized with great bedding, and the furniture throughout was in excellent condition. Arriving to a thoughtful welcome basket filled with snacks alongside clear guides for the home and local area was a wonderful touch.The outdoor lake amenities truly made our trip. Having kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, and life jackets readily available allowed us to get straight out onto the water without extra hassle. We also deeply appreciated the outdoor misting/pest-control system, which kept mosquitoes at bay so we could actually relax and enjoy the patio in the evenings.Communication was seamless from start to finish—the hosts were prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful with every inquiry. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother, more relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again!"

My husband, son, and I stayed for one night and were able to rest very well. Having a clean and quiet environment is everything I look for in a hotel.
