"It was the perfect place for our extended family to stay. The house is spacious (on 3 levels) and has an amazing deck and backyard. We enjoyed being on the deck during the day and at night. The fire pit was a big hit. We had everything we needed and extras too!"

"We had a great stay at this home. Four couples in town for a wedding, and we found the house comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We enjoyed the deck during the day and camp fire at night. The beds were comfortable and house had plenty of room for all of us. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"This was one of those rare rentals that felt less like staying in a VRBO and more like being entrusted with a much-loved family home. The house has wonderful old-world charm—historic, beautifully refurbished, high-quality, but comfortable and lived-in in exactly the right way.It was exceptionally family friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed, the large dining table became gathering central, and there were plenty of spaces to spread out. We loved movie nights with the surround sound, and the third floor—with games and instruments—was a favorite. We took turns playing songs on the digital piano, which became one of those unexpected little memories everyone loved.The porch was the pièce de résistance: rocking chairs, a hammock, and an extraordinary lake view. We even saw a double rainbow over the lake, which made an already beautiful setting feel a little magical.The lake access was fantastic. The boathouse was perfect for our boat rental and made hopping aboard incredibly easy. We swam, paddle-boarded, floated in tubes, and our dog fetched off the rock until he could barely keep swimming. The separate fenced yard was also a huge plus.Our host was warm, experienced, responsive, and even stopped by to show us around. Five stars, easily. If this house is available for your dates, consider yourself lucky and book it."

"It was a great trip. The home went beyond our expectations: a spectacular view of the lake, inside of the home highlighted the Lake Region character and was up to date and clean. It was peaceful. And the beach was just a walk away. One of the benefits of the location was the ability to explore so many different towns and mountain areas-- Wolfeboro, Aldon, Meredith and Gunstock and Major Mountain ranges and a state park with a beach just nearby. Good restaurants close by. Marcia was a great host."

"This is a very nice property. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with enough land around it so you aren't on top of neighbors. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or the fire pit as it was raining for the time we were there, but maybe next time. We went in the summer, so can't say much about the distance to skiing, but it is very close to Lake Winnipesaukee and the town of Meredith is just a short drive up the road. We only had two people at the house, so there was a lot of room. There are plenty of beds and rooms so you could probably fit at least 6-8 people if you wanted to. Everything worked fine, including the A/C. We didn't have an opportunity to test any of the heaters. The host was very responsive and great with communication. It's a very quaint house. We enjoyed our time there."

"We had such a comfortable and fun family stay at this home. The home’s layout is wonderful for a family, and the furnishings were so comfortable. The couches in the TWO TV rooms were comfortable to relax on and the beds in the bedrooms were equally as comfortable. We slept well every night we were here and it was so quiet. One of us forgot a toothbrush, and Nick and Toni had some toothbrushes at the ready for us. There were extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, dish soap, condiments, and spices available for us. These additions made unpacking and functioning in the home seamless. There were many nights when we cooked at home and we had all of the necessary tools: including pots and pans, tinfoil, a clean and high functioning grill, strainers and bowls to do so. The hot tub was wonderful and the side of the house with the fire pit, which we did not use, has a gorgeous lawn that is impeccably kept - it is cozy to walk on and beautiful to look at. The location of the home is conveniently situated in Gilford which is close to Meredith, Weirs Beach, Alton and Wolfeboro. Twice we ate at a delicious restaurant only 10 minutes away called “The Breeze.” We were less than 15 minutes away from Gunstock where we hiked a few times and Mount Major, which we hiked three times. I really can’t say enough good things about this property….its location, its amenities and comfort, and, of course, its gracious hosts."
