So nice to have water in the lake to catch the light again. This lake has RV Spots, Frisbee Golf, an amphitheater, a really cool mountain bike/hiking trail all the way around it, fishing, swimming, and a golf course on the other side of the dam. A music festival, Buckin Wild, has just relocated to the amphitheater this year.

The Saturday before Labor Day each year at 2pm, the country comes to town to celebrate the Elk City Rodeo of Champions with a huge parade.
