Court House square is only 5 blocks, walking distance of nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and historic sites. Bardstown is the "Heart of Bourbon Country" with Heaven Hill Distillery, Maker's Mark. Jim Beam, Four Roses Distillery and more. New kitchen, smart TV, computer desk, usb charging station , free Wi-fi.

The house is homey with a large living room, dinning room, kitchen, patio, coffee bar and computer desk with charging station, wifi, 40-Inch Smart LED Television , DVD player and 80 DVD movies titles. A very cozy and well kept home, very conveniently located. Within walking distance to many places of interest. The owners had many items available for our convenience if needed and were very kind and helpful with suggestions for dinner options.

This home is only 5 blocks from downtown Bardstown! So many fun and historical sites all within walking distance. Talbott had Great food and The Oak and Grape bar is amazing!! Highly recommend both

Great cozy place near downtown

A wonderful quiet place to stay. Hosts are incredible gracious and welcoming. A great location for exploring downtown Bardstown within walking distance of the town square. Would definitely recommend for a small group looking to explore the downtown area.

Great place to stay in Bardstown. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants and a short drive to most everything else. The house itself was great and very well appointed. We felt very comfortable and at home.

Everything was perfect for us. The hosts made the arrival process so easy. Loved all the extras that were provided…breakfast options, all kinds of different coffee flavors, sweet treats and prepared bags of ice to refill ice chests. The home is located within walking distance to the Kentucky Dinner train.

Bourbon Hunting

Whenever we came home from our bourbon hunting, we actually felt like we were coming home. Very comfortable, nice extras like candy dishes everywhere and very quiet, even though it was on a main road. Delightful.

All you need in Bardstown

This home is very cute and the owners thought of everything! They had coffee and snacks in the kitchen by variety. They even had to go cups for the coffee. Great location on the Main Street in bardstown. Comfortable beds. Loved it

Comfortable and Clean

The property was very well-maintained, clean and the hosts had thought of everything that you might need for a stay. Great variety of snacks, coffees, teas and hot cocoa. It was close to everything that we wanted to do in Bardstown. Some street noise as it was on a main road. The bedrooms are in the back of the house so that didn't interfere with sleeping. Overall great visit!

Four High School Friends Reunion

My friends and had not seen one another for about 40 years. The house was a perfect place for us to lounge around in jammies, drink coffee, giggle and laugh all weekend. We were close to Rickhoue and the dinner train, shopping areas. Perfect weekend. The house was lovely, clean and very accommodating. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

Lovely little home in Bardstown!

We had a fun girls’ weekend at this lovely little home! The kitchen was updated and well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils and a great gas stove we used to cook breakfast. The family room was a nice place for the four of us to sit and visit. The dining room sat up to 6 and was a comfy place to enjoy meals together. It was about 1/2 mile to walk into the cute area of shops and restaurants in town. We had three cars and plenty of room to park. (Only took off one star for location because it is on a very busy road.) This was about the same cost for us as a local hotel would’ve been - and it was so much more room and better all around. We highly recommend it!

Bourbon Festival

My husband & I stayed at Ron & Orline’s beautiful, quaint home for the weekend of Bardstown Bourbon Festival. We were able to check in early & were greeted by Orline for a quick tour on their home. Everything was immaculate & there were lots of extras & goodies. We had our choice of coffees, teas, snacks & chocolates. The house is totally decorated for fall inside & out. The bed & furniture were very comfy. We walked everywhere & didn’t need to drive anywhere during our stay. Downtown Bardstown is a quick 5 block walk. The bourbon festival was so fun with live bands, special bourbon tastings & food trucks. We would definitely love to stay again next time we are in Bardstown. Thanks for sharing your lovely home & for the wonderful hospitality!! Mary Ann & Rick

Bourbon Trail getaway

The home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The gel mattress topper on the bed was very comfy which is very important to us. No waking up with a sore back in the morning! Another important thing is having coffee available. They had both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. They also had coffee (k-cups) on hand, but if you're picky about your coffee, you might want to pack your own. Although the home is on a busy street, we found it to be quiet inside. I found we needed to use a white noise app to cover up the noises at nighttime, though. The rental unit is attached to the family home. I think the white noise app comes in handy here too, to cover up sounds you might hear from the attached home. The location of the home is pretty convenient to the downtown. It's just a short drive. There are plenty of distilleries nearby, from Jim Beam, Bardstown, Heaven Hill to craft distilleries. We had a nice stay.

Bardstown's Best Kept Secret!

AMAZING property! We LOVED staying at Ron & Orline's lovely house! It's such a perfect location - literally 2 minutes away from R. J. Corman's lovely dinner excursion train (what a romantic experience!) to the beautiful downtown with its charming shops and restaurants! We very much enjoyed walking the half-mile historic stretch to and from downtown. Ron & Orline's hard work and attention to detail are obvious, from Ron's warm welcome and walk through to ensure all our needs were met, to the care and thought they invested in every inch of the property: beautiful new kitchen, designed tastefully and functionally, with high quality materials and well equipped (we appreciated the Keurig coffee machine and the capsules!), to the cleanliness of every inch of the house, to the white tablecloth dinning table (don't think I've ever stayed at a "white tablecloth" VRBO! :) Most restaurants nowadays don't get to this level of thoughtfulness and "luxury"!). All the decor is very thoughtful and apropos - we felt truly immersed in the KY culture. THANK YOU, Ron & Orline for a wonderful experience! We look forward to visiting you guys again!
