"Overall we enjoyed our stay! The master bedroom doesn't get the best A/C airflow so it took a while to get to sleep at night but it was comfortable and roomy. The cabin is remote and quiet which was one of our main goals! We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed ourselves. Only downside is we did not see in the listing anywhere that said the pool wasn't open yet which was one of the reasons we chose this property. The owner's explanation made sense and they were very responsive and professional."

"The home was nicely furnished with three living room areas, a complete kitchen with every thing you need, four bedrooms with comfortable bedding, three full bathrooms and linens supplied. We very much enjoyed the party house right on the river and the adjacent fire pit with comfortable benches. The driveway to the home is steep but very negotiable for cars and motorcycles. We enjoyed the time so much we are considering coming back next year."

"I cannot stress enough the friendliness, and hospitality of this hotel's staff!! So helpful and friendly, just unbelievable. The food here is also excellent. We had Sunday brunch here and also a special Memorial Day meal. The patio area is gorgeous. They have speakeasy on the lower level which is fun and serves really good drinks. "The hotel is on the Ohio river in Marietta, OH. The breakfast is reasonably priced in the Gun Room. The bar and grill was nice as well. The single elevator seemed to keep up with the 5 floors. The rooms were a bit dated, but the hotel is over 100 years old, but has been kept up and modernized pretty well. A small refrigerator/freezer would have welcome. "
