"This hotel is a beautiful, historic palace for a noble family centuries ago. It is absolutely gorgeous. They have renovated it in both modern and historic ways, it is amazing! The location is fantastic for walking around the historic area of Catania with tons of markets, shops and restaurants. The staff was great in helping to navigate the area and give recommendations for meals and activities. The rooftop area and bar were lovely, great views and great beverages (Jorde was very nice to give us the name of his friend's restaurant with good pizza on a cute piazza!) Breakfast was amazing, presentation was so unique and the location on the terrace couldn't be better. The room had everything we could need, although the bed was a bit firm! We were there on a Saturday night and the piazzo below our room was quite noisy until very late (early into the next morning!)"

"The room was in a very old building typical of Catania old town. You had to access thru a large gate from the street and then a key pad to the room which was also deadlocked. So very secure. Very quiet as well. The air con was excellent The plumbingwas clearlya ancientso a warm showerwas a challebut we did it in the end with hrlp from the staff, which was necessary as it was 30 degrees outside!"

"Location: excellent. Just steps from the Duomo. We stayed 2 nights: we had the room serviced. TV did not work the second night. It kept buffering for signal. And internet was so so the second night. A/C worked. Thanks God! No fridge in the room, but a sharing one is available at the main door. Early arrival: we were offered to store our luggage and start visiting Catania Management very responsive to our messages. The place has 4 or 5 rooms. It is located in a courtyard with other residencies and hotel type organizations. The gate to the courtyard is always locked. It’s quiet. It felt like we were the only one. Shampoo, body wash and hand soaps are provided. Coffee maker, pods and sugar available in the room. Sheets and towels cleaned and sufficient. Bed was comfortable. I travelled with my teenager son (normally I travel solo) and found it safe. I would go back."
