"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

"This was exactly what we were looking for: privacy and access to nature. Cottage was well maintained and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals right in the kitchen and had to spend some time indoors due to rain, and it was no issue at all. There's some great outdoor spaces including a short trail up the hill across the road. Host was responsive to communication and the check-in/check-out process was easy. We are looking forward to coming back some day."

"I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and about as relaxing as the porch. We couldn't decide whether to sit inside or outside. The location is close to town yet far enough...

"The house was perfect for our family weekend get-a-way! The views outside were just beautiful! Although the weather was rainy and cloudy most of the time, it didn’t stop the kids from fishing and paddle boating in the pond every day. "We had such an amazing time here. The accommodations were so relaxing and comfortable. We played games, watched movies, hiked, fed the fish in the pond, played pool, made s’mores over a bonfire, played with the dogs and even tried to fly a kite unsuccessfully. Then we experienced the eclipse at a local event and had a blast. This is an amazing place to do whatever your heart desires!"
